Workplace Bullying Prevention

Workplace bullying is a recognised psychosocial hazard under Australian Work Health and Safety laws. Employers have a legal duty to eliminate or minimise the risk of bullying, and workers must take reasonable care that their actions don't harm others. Failing to address bullying can result in regulatory action, workers' compensation claims, and Fair Work Commission orders. This course gives your team the knowledge to identify bullying behaviour, understand what is and isn't bullying under the law, and respond appropriately when issues arise. It covers the three-part legal test, the difference between bullying and reasonable management action, reporting procedures, and the external avenues available to workers including Fair Work Commission stop bullying orders. Completing this training demonstrates due diligence and helps create a respectful workplace culture.
