About This Course
Sexual harassment at work is never acceptable - and under Australian law, preventing it is now every employer's legal responsibility. This course gives your whole team a clear, practical understanding of what workplace sexual harassment is, why it matters, and what everyone can do to stop it. Since 2022, the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 places a "positive duty" on every Australian employer to take proactive steps to eliminate sexual harassment, and the Australian Human Rights Commission can enforce it. Workplace sexual harassment is also prohibited under the Fair Work Act 2009 and treated as a work health and safety risk. Training your staff is one of the clearest ways to show you are meeting these obligations. Designed for employees at every level, this self-paced online course covers recognising harassment, understanding rights and responsibilities, responding as a bystander, and reporting concerns safely. It takes around two hours to complete and finishes with a knowledge assessment, so you have a record that your team has been trained.
